Cargo Competition Craziness!

The first participant to ship 100 cbm LCL cargo (or highest volume) to the United States will win a four-night cruise for two from 24-28 January 2005 on the Rhapsody to Bazaruto Island and back,  valued at over R9000!  This includes all meals and airport taxes out of Durban!

As the Rhapsody sails from Durban Harbour life on board begins in earnest.

After checking into your cabin – the first place you will want to be is up on deck for the “sail away” party.    So begins your four day cruise to the beautiful Mozambiquan Island of Bazaruto.

The cruise sets sail at 15h00 on the day of departure and sails for two nights and one full day until you reach the Island.  During this cruising time,  you will find lively activity and soothing leisure time to fill your days with wonder and evenings with delight. Take a morning jog on the deck or a midnight stroll in the moonlight, indulge yourself with breakfast in bed or linger over a nightcap in a cosy lounge, dance in the discotheque and win big in the casino, enjoy a superbly prepared dinner and elaborate midnight buffet.

On arrival at Bazaruto Island, you will be ferried to a white, sandy beach by special Zodiac landing craft. A beach barbecue is prepared by the Italian chefs and the Island Bar is set up specially to provide your favourite refreshment. Activities may Include beach volleyball, snorkelling, diving, fishing and Zodiac rides.

You can join the conservation lecturer on a walk or simply relax on the beach and dip in the warm, clear water.  Returning late in the afternoon for the sail back home.

Another two nights and one fun filled day await you for the return to Durban and time to fit in all the activities available on board.  Arriving at Durban Harbour is a magical experience which you will appreciate after your enjoyable cruise experience.

A cruise on the Rhapsody is unlike any other holiday. The cruise is inclusive of accommodation, all meals, activities and entertainment; you only need to budget for shopping, casino, gratuities and drinks.  Rhapsody offers comfortable cabins and elaborately designed and creatively decorated show venues, lounges and public areas.
